Our Spiritual Hunger And Prayers For Revival - Part 4

Part four of our prayer series

OUR SPIRITUAL HUNGER AND PRAYERS FOR REVIVAL PART 4

We come to you Lord Jesus. We are in You and You have become; “...for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption—“  ( 1 Corinthians 1:30NKJ)

For we were bought with a price and we want You to be glorified in our bodies, and in our spirits which are Yours. (see 1Cor. 6:20NKJ)

We cry; “for 'the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.'” (1 Cor. 10:26NKJ). We ask that You would take Your rightful place in the earth.  We say; “... thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” ( 1Cor. 15:57KJV).  We say; “Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort; Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.”

( 2 Cor. 1:3-4KJV)  Help us to comfort others in this way. Thank you for Your comfort.

Lord we believe that there is a great victory to be won in this hour. We know that You neither slumber nor sleep. Will You rise up and do a mighty work in us, in Your Church, for Your glory?  We don't trust in ourselves but in You God who raises the dead, who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver us: in Whom we trust that You will deliver us. (see 2Cor. 1:9-10)

Lord, will You do a work in us in this hour? Will You do a work in our Church, in our region, in our nation?  We are crying out for You to move among us. Not many of us are wise, mighty or noble, but it pleases You to choose; “...the foolish things of the world to confound the wise... ” (1Cor. 1:27KJV), and; “...the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;” (1Cor. 1:27KJV), and the base things, the things which are despised, the things which are not.  Lord, would you use us? We are on the bottom. Would You use us that no flesh should glory in Your sight? (see 1Cor. 1:26-29)

Please do a work in us that we would be enriched in all utterance and all knowledge and that the testimony of Christ would be confirmed in us as we eagerly wait for the revelation of You. (see 1 Cor. 1:4-8NKJ1 Cor. 1:4-8 )

Lord You have told us that ; “... Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.” ( 1 Cor. 2:9KJV)  We love You Lord. We love You God.  We believe that You are preparing incredible things both on this side and on the next side of glory.  On this side of glory, prepare a great revival that will leave us changed and the lost gathered in?

Lord, will You gather in the lost? Will You gather in our families, our friends, those who we yet do not know? We are trying to plant and water the seed of Your gospel, but Lord ; “...neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the increase. “ ( 1 Cor. 3:7NKJ) We are nothing. You are everything. Will You give the increase?

Lord; “...  if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.  But if any man love God, the same is known of him.”

( 1 Cor. 8:2-3 KJV).  Lord I know nothing and I love you.  Know us and use us for Your glory, to bring glory to Your name, the name of Jesus.

We cry out ; “for “the earth is the Lord’s, and all its fullness.'” (1Cor. 10:26NKJ).  Will You move in the earth? Take your place Lord. Overturn the tables and be Lord of all.  Lord; “... we see through a glass, darkly;...” (1Cor. 13:12KJV).  But we believe that You are moving.  We believe that You are answering. We believe that the breakthrough is coming. Lord You have graciously given us Your gospel, which we have received, and in which we stand, by which also we are saved. Help us to hold fast to Your word which we have received. (See 1 Cor. 15:1-2NKJ).

May we, Your Church be; “... stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord,...” ( 1 Cor. 15:58KJV) knowing that our labour; “...is not in vain in the Lord.” ( 1 Cor. 15:58NKJ) Help us to run in such a way that we may obtain the prize. (See 1 Cor. 9:24).  Keep supplying ways of escape when we are tempted by any common temptation. (See 1Cor. 10:13).  Help us all to walk in Your more excellent way of love (See 1 Cor12:31) where our love can; “Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.” (1Cor  13:7KJV). Lord, You have told us that; “Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.” (Psalm 127:1KJV).  Lord, will You build Your house, Your church, Your body in this hour? May there be no divisions among us, may we all speak the same thing.  May we be perfectly joined together, (see 1Cor. 1:10) for a testimony to the world. May we all have the mind of Christ in this hour. (see 1Cor. 2:16).

May we be fellow workers with You. (see 1 Cor. 3:9NKJ)  You are our foundation, upon this foundation help us to build with; “... gold, silver, precious stones, ...”(1Cor. 3:12KJV) and not with;  “...wood, hay, stubble;” (1Cor. 3:12KJV).

We thank You Lord that You; “... always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us [a]diffuses the fragrance of ...” (2 Cor. 2:14NKJV)Your; “...knowledge in every place.”(2 Cor. 2:14NKJV Footnote [a]manifests)   Please defuse through us the fragrance of Christ. Help us that our testimony would be; “...that we conducted ourselves in the world in [a]simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom but by the grace of God, ...” (2 Cor. 1:12NKJ Footnote The opposite of duplicity).

Keep writing Your word on the tablets of flesh, that is on our hearts (see 2 Cor. 3:3NKJ).  Lord we believe that; “...our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;” (2 Corinthians 4:17KJV) Have your way Lord.  We choose to look; “...not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: ...” (2 Corinthians 4:18KJV) Lord we look, hope and believe in the eternal, unseen things that You are doing, bring them about fulfill Your purposes in us, in Your Church, in Your body.  We ask and believe.  We ask and believe.  We ask and believe.  With a; “...spirit of faith, according to what is written, 'I believed and therefore I spoke,'...” (2 Cor. 4:13NKJ) “...we also believe and therefore speak,” (2 Cor. 4:13NKJ)Lord send revival.

We choose to; “...walk by faith, not by sight...” (2 Cor. 5:7KJV).  Lord win a great victory in this hour for the glory of Your own name. We pray that You would open the door. We have held before You Your promise; “Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.”  (Mat. 7:7-8KJV) We are asking God that You would open for us and for Your Church; “...a great and effective door...” (1Cor. 16:9NKJ)for ministry.  Lord You have ; “...given to us the ministry of reconciliation;”. (2 Cor. 5:18 KJV) Help us to take Your word of reconciliation to the world.  (See 2 Cor. 5:19).  May Your love compel us. (see 2Cor. 5:14) Lord You have told us that; “...now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)” (2 Cor. 6:2KJV). Lord it is time for Your light to shine into the darkness. Dispel the darkness by Your marvellous light. We cry to You Lord that Your light would shine on the darkness of our land. We cry that souls would be reached for You. We cry that; “...the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV) “For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”( 2 Cor. 4:6KJV). Shine Your light!

Lord, a veil lies over the eyes of people of this valley.  “ Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.” (2 Cor. 3:16NKJ). Lord will You shine Your light. Turn all of our hearts to You and take away the veils.  Lord send revival here, an undeniable revival that cause men to glorify our Father in heaven. Send revival, may it be like Your word says, “... I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.” (2 Cor. 6:16 KJV)  Dwell in and walk in us.   Dwell in and walk among us.
